CARDINALS PUSH NO. 9 OLE MISS TO THE FINAL SECOND
Louisville gave No. 9 Ole Miss everything in a 41-38 prime-time battle at Nissan Stadium on Sunday night. The Cardinals and Rebels were tied 24-24 at halftime, and the game stayed close all the way to the final seconds. Louisville tied the game at 38-38 with 1:28 remaining, but Ole Miss answered with a 48-yard field goal as time expired. Quarterback Lincoln Kienholz had an impressive first start since high school. He completed 18 of 29 passes for 307 yards and two touchdowns.

KENTUCKY STATE GOES TOE-TO-TOE WITH D1 SOUTHERN
BATON ROUGE, LA - Kentucky State Football went up against Division I Southern on Saturday, showing plenty of fight in a 34-15 road loss at A.W. Mumford Stadium. The Thorobreds finished with 378 total yards, slightly more than Southern’s 372. Kentucky State also held the ball for 32:36 and recorded 18 first downs.
