The Stable was founded in Frankfort, Kentucky by Austin Stuckey, a Cincinnati-born and raised freelance sports and entertainment creative with a passion for storytelling and media coverage.

As a freelance creative working around nationally recognized programs like the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky, while also freelancing local concerts, festivals, and entertainment events in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio, Austin quickly learned that access at the highest level often requires established media backing.

The Stable was created to bridge the gap between independent creatives and big-time sporting and entertainment events. It provides freelancers, interns, writers, photographers, and storytellers with a legitimate platform, one that opens doors instead of closing them.
