THREE LOUISVILLE KINGS EARN NFL PRACTICE SQUAD SPOTS AFTER CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON

LOUISVILLE, KY - The Louisville Kings are already making an impact beyond their first championship season.

Wide receiver Lucky Jackson, linebacker Cam Gill, and cornerback Bryce Hall have each earned spots on NFL practice squads. Jackson is headed to the Detroit Lions, Gill joins the Carolina Panthers, and Hall will continue with the Houston Texans.

For the Kings, this is another strong sign of what their first season meant for the players who took the field.

Jackson gave Louisville a reliable target during the regular season, finishing with 32 receptions for 392 yards and two touchdowns. He also helped the team in the return game.

Gill was one of the biggest defensive standouts in the UFL. He earned Defensive Player of the Year honors after leading the league with 10 sacks and 12 tackles for loss.

Hall also brings NFL experience to Houston after helping the Kings during their championship run. His move gives him another opportunity to compete for a roster spot at the next level.

The UFL has continued to give players a chance to develop, compete, and get back on NFL teams. This year, 45 UFL players earned spots on NFL active rosters or practice squads, including 26 practice squad players.

Louisville’s first season produced a championship, but the success is not stopping there. With Jackson, Gill, and Hall moving on to NFL opportunities, the Kings are showing that their roster had plenty of talent worth watching.

The next step is up to the players, but Louisville has already helped create a path forward.
