KINGS ADVANCE TO UNITED BOWL IN HISTORIC FIRST SEASON

ST. LOUIS, MO - The Louisville Kings are headed to the United Bowl.

In just their first season as a franchise, the Kings defeated the St. Louis Battlehawks 29-20 on Sunday night to earn a spot in the UFL championship game. Louisville will now face the DC Defenders on June 13 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.

Louisville's offense delivered when it mattered most. Quarterback Chandler Rogers threw for 162 yards and a touchdown, while running back Ian Wheeler provided a huge spark on the ground with 89 rushing yards and a touchdown on just seven carries. Rogers also connected with Isaiah Winstead for a 66-yard performance and a score through the air.

The Kings finished with 332 total yards and controlled the game in critical moments despite facing one of the league's toughest road environments.

Defensively, Louisville came through with timely stops throughout the night. The Kings limited St. Louis to 321 total yards, forced a turnover, and made key plays late to secure the victory. The defense held firm when momentum began to swing, helping Louisville close out the program's biggest win to date.

Head coach Chris Redman has guided the expansion franchise through a remarkable inaugural season. What started as a brand-new team is now one win away from a championship.
