Kentucky Pros Set to Shine on Football’s Biggest Pre-Draft Stage at the NFL Combine

Indianapolis, IN - The Commonwealth is preparing for a major moment in Indianapolis.

The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine will take place this week, February 26 through March 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium, bringing together the nation’s top draft prospects for one of the most important evaluations in football.

Kentucky colleges will be well represented.

From the University of Kentucky, six Wildcats earned invitations:

Josh Braun (Offensive Line), Jager Burton (Offensive Line), Jalen Farmer (Offensive Line), David Gusta (Defensive Line), Kendrick Law (Wide Receiver), and Seth McGowan (Running Back).

The University of Louisville will also send two standouts:

Chris Bell (Wide Receiver) and Caullin Lacy (Wide Receiver / Return Specialist).

According to CBS Sports’ draft prospect rankings, Chris Bell currently stands as the top-ranked draft prospect coming out of the state of Kentucky. While Bell headlines the group and appears as the cover athlete for this story, this moment reflects the depth of talent across the entire Commonwealth.

Position groups will rotate throughout the weekend, with defensive linemen and linebackers opening Thursday, followed by defensive backs and tight ends Friday. Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs take the spotlight Saturday, while offensive linemen close things out Sunday.

Indianapolis provides the stage. Kentucky is bringing the talent, and the league is watching.
