Eagles Win 4th Straight, Top Eastern Illinois 73-70

CHARLESTON, IL - Morehead State got great production across the lineup in their road game, leaning on consistent scoring and contributions from multiple players.
G. Marshall led the way with 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-6 from three-point range. D. Cunningham added 19 points and went 9-of-11 from the field, also recording two steals and a block.
C. Dawson scored seven points and made 7-of-8 free throws. J. Carroll chipped in nine points and four rebounds, while V. Dawson III and A. Mellouk each added six points, helping keep the offense balanced.
On defense, Cunningham’s two steals and a block anchored the effort, and several players pulled down four or more rebounds to help control the glass. Starters handled the bulk of the minutes, with four having at least 26, showing trust from the coaching staff.
Morehead State got efficient scoring from its top players while the bench added nice contributions to round out the win.
With the dub, the Eagles move to 16-12 on the season.
