CARDINALS CELEBRATE SENIOR NIGHT WITH WIN

LOUISVILLE, KY - Louisville celebrated Senior Night at the KFC Yum! Center with a strong 87-70 win over Georgia Tech on Saturday. The Cardinals balanced scoring, controlled the glass, and honored their seniors with a signature home victory.
Louisville’s offense was led by senior Ryan Conwell, who scored a team-high 15 points. Mikel Brown Jr. added 19 points overall, while J’Vonne Hadley chipped in 17, showcasing the team’s balanced attack. Isaac McKneely went 4-of-4 from the field and contributed 14 points, helping the Cardinals extend their lead in the second half.
Defensively, Louisville held Georgia Tech to just 16.7% from beyond the arc and limited second-chance opportunities. Turnovers were minimized, and the bench added 20 points, providing energy when starters rested.
Coach Kelsey had the team focusing on disciplined ball movement and attacking the paint, helping Louisville secure the win and send the seniors off in style. The victory improves Louisville’s record to 20-7 overall, 9-5 in ACC play, and sets up a crucial matchup tomorrow against No. 16 North Carolina, a top-six ACC team.
